Alessa

Alessa Knur has been on stage with a wide vari­ety of projects since her youth.

The singer-song­writer from Aachen (DE) has already released one album and sev­er­al sin­gles. Whether jazz, pop or folk — her pre­vi­ous releas­es reflect a vari­ety of musi­cal styles.

In addi­tion to big band engage­ments in 2017/2018 with a per­for­mance at the Charle­magne Prize cer­e­mo­ny in Aachen and con­certs at the TEFAF art fair in Maas­tricht, as well as oth­er appear­ances in the cul­tur­al scene, she has worked with ver­sa­tile music pro­duc­ers such as Fab­bro music (DE) and Grisver (MWI).

Dur­ing her stud­ies, her music was nom­i­nat­ed for the Dutch Jazz Com­pe­ti­tion Award 2020.

The musi­cian from Aachen impress­es with her clear, warm and sparkling voice, which jazz singer Maria Mendes describes with a sin­gle word: ​“Beau­ti­ful”.

In sum­mer 2023, she toured across Ger­many with the Ost­wind ini­tia­tive’s gig fes­ti­val and wowed audi­ences with orig­i­nal com­po­si­tions from her 2021 debut album. She will release her new EP in June 2024.
